Whale Watching
Starting around 9 o’clock in the morning from the pier, you’ll be taken to the beach or island that, according to the weather conditions, is going to be better. Depending on the weather, you’ll be able to go snorkling before your trip to see the whales or after returning. We’ll head towards the idilic destination chosen for lunch, where a sailor will begin preparing lunch while you go to see the whales. Being wild animals they can sometimes be illusive and take a while to spot or they can be sighted immediately.
Lunch consists of grilled fish or grilled lula, coconut rice and carril of vegetables. After lunch we’ll return to the island where you can relax.
Boat Trips
Starting around 9 o’clock from the pier, you’ll go to the beach or island whichever is better depending upon the weather conditions. With an eye on the weather you can snorkle beforearriving at the beach or island or after returning. We’ll head towards the chosen destination for lunch, where a sailor will begin preparing lunch while you enjoy the beach and the sea.
Lunch consists of grilled fish or grilled lula, cocounut rice and carril of vegetables. After lunch you’ll return to the island.
Cooking Classes
Our cooking classes take place in a local house at around 5pm. The last for around a couple of hours where you’ll get to participate in the preparation of some local dishes. After the meal has been cooked you’ll be able to eat the meal with the local family.
Cooking classes need to be booked at least a day in advance.
Walking Tours
What better way to get to know our Ilha de Mozambique than to take a guided tour around the island with one of our extremely knowledgable guides.
Despite our island being quite small – it’s only 3km long and 600m at it’s widest point – there are so many things to discover. From the small streets and their daily life and culture through to the historical buildings with their varied histories.
