Sunset Dream Bed and Breakfast is a new concept of accommodation on the island of Mozambique. Our house offers rooms for all budgets, from couples seeking tranquillity and comfort accompanied by the sound of the waves, to travellers staying in the dormitory before continuing with their journey.
Our delicious breakfast with pancakes and fresh fruit is included and you can enjoy it along with our amazing sea views. Everyone is welcome to use the kitchen. We’ve worked hard to create a sense of peace in our house which helps everyone living there to find a sense of harmony. What better way to end the day than with everyone sharing our dream terrace, with its traditional beds, from which to watch the stars or enjoy a glass of wine at sunset.
Relax or go on one of our many activities
Among the many activities that Sunset Dream Bed and Breakfast promotes are motorized dhow tours to visit the surrounding beaches or desert islands with fine white sand, with the possibility of snorkelling and having a grilled lunch cooked on the beach, accompanied from coconut rice and carril of vegetables.
Between July and October, it is possible to take a boat tour to watch the whales pass by these parts to raise their young.
Immerse yourself in our culture
We also recommend taking a historical cultural tour of the island to immerse yourself in the local stories, past and present, and in the traditions and daily life of local families, which are otherwise difficult to reach. The story is not only the one written in the books but also the one painted on the faces of the people, especially the elderly.
Finally, why not take a cooking lesson in one of the local homes. One of the local women will provide you with an insight into the regional food and it creates an opportunity for an exchange between local culture and foreign cultures. Also, it creates real, valuable, ties between our tourists and locals.
